Chief William Ingram

United States Navy, Retired

February 15, 1935 - July 1, 2019

William Ingram, 84, of Sierra Vista, Arizona, passed away on July 1st, 2019.

William was born on February 15, 1935, in Santa Monica, California to the late Arthur and Lucille (Colony) Ingram. He lived in both California and Arizona for most of his life.

William proudly served in the United States Navy and attained the rank of Chief before retiring after 20 years of service. He also was in Civil Service for about 20 years, retiring as a Post Master in nearby Huachuca City, Arizona.

He was married twice; first to Betty (Warren) Reed and to his current wife, June (Yu) Ingram.

William was an avid golfer and enjoyed golfing in the local Sierra Vista area while retired and physically able.

William was preceded in death by two brothers, Eddie and Buzz

William is survived by one brother, Kenny; by his loving wife June J. Ingram; his ex-wife, Betty (Reed) Warren and their children Linda, Calvin, Janet, and Rhonda.

He will be truly missed by all who knew him.

Interment with military honors will be held on Friday, July 5th, 2019 at 2 PM at the Southern Arizona Veterans' Memorial Cemetery, located at 1300 Buffalo Soldier Trial.

I am deeply sorry for your loss. May the god of comfort be with your family during this time. Revelation 21: 3 and 4 foretells of a future time when death will be no more and we will be reunited with our loved ones. Your family will be in my prayers.
