Xyla (Aka Paula) Willeen Carson On May 7th , 2024 Xyla Willeen Carson passed away peacefully at home at the age of 83.
Xyla grew up in northern California then moved to Idaho where she spent most of her life caring for her family and assisting in the different family businesses along the way.
Her passions were fishing, gardening, and homemaking. Some of the homemaking included making root beer, butter and soap just to name a few. In her later years she moved to southern Arizona and became a successful realtor, translating that knowledge into property management. She also had a love for graphic design and helped her husband in his business for many years.
Xyla enjoyed scrabble with her sister-in-law and rarely lost; she was very competitive and it showed in her excitement for the game.
She had always loved northern Idaho and hoped to one day return.
Xyla is survived by her husband Patrick F Carson, her children Matthew Carson, Daniel Carson, Heidi Carson-Boraski, Shelby Davis and Olga Amaya, her granddaughters Jackie Molen, Nicole Schuler, Ashley Weaver, Rebecca Tolbert, Joshua Weaver and Alexander Stegall, her great grandchildren Sadie Faye and Noah Ridge Schuler, and by her sisters Janice Porter and Judy Brooks.
She is predeceased by her son Patrick J Carson and her brother Jimmy Ellison.
