William “Bill” Kelley McCutchan passed away on June 22, 2024, in Sierra Vista, AZ. He was born January 22, 1971, in Tempe, AZ. Bill was a third-generation Arizona native.
He attended Brophy Prep in Phoenix, AZ, before joining the Marine Corps. He also served in the Army. He was deployed to Iraq in 2004 through 2005; after serving in the Army, Bill made Sierra Vista his home. He was a contracted employee at Fort Huachuca, AZ, from which he retired.
He belonged to the VFW and the American Legion Post 52. He was an active participant in the American Legion. Bill was involved in many areas of the American Legion, but his two favorite areas were his yearly stints at Santa Claus and The Forty and Eight. The Forty and Eight are by invitation of honorably discharged veterans and honorably serving United States Armed Forces members. He enjoyed playing competitive pool and sipping a good scotch while enjoying a fine cigar.
Bill is survived by his son William McCutchan, his mother Kristie Moe (Frank), brother James McCutchan, sister Marie Roberts (Bruce), Grandmother Patty Kelley, and Aunt Kandie Kelley. His grandfather, William Kelley, and father, James McCutchan, preceded him in death.
Celebration of Life services will be held July 13, 2024, at 1:00 PM at Hatfield Funeral Home, 830 South Highway 92, Sierra Vista, AZ 85635.
