William David Todd, age 59, of Hereford, passed away on January 17, 2026, peacefully surrounded by his family following a heart attack.

William was born on July 30, 1966, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to Darol and Louise Todd. He was a devoted husband to his wife, Rebecca Todd, and a loving father to his three sons, Joshua (Katrina), Adam (Mary), and Ryan Todd (Jasmine). Family was the cornerstone of his life, and he took great pride in his role as a father and grandfather.

William honorably served 24 years on active duty in the United States Army, retiring with the rank of First Sergeant. He also served as a Jumpmaster, exemplifying leadership, discipline, and commitment throughout his military career. His exceptional dedication and professionalism earned him the prestigious Master Instructor Badge. Over the course of his career, he coached, trained, and mentored thousands of Soldiers and Noncommissioned Officers, leaving a lasting impact on the United States Army and its future leadership.

William was deeply respected by colleagues and students alike and valued the strong bonds he formed with his work family. His integrity, mentorship, and commitment to excellence will be remembered by all who had the privilege of working with him.

William is survived by his wife, Rebecca; his sons, Joshua, Adam, and Ryan; his mother, Louise Todd; his brothers, Bryan Todd and Rick Todd; and multiple grandchildren ( Aiden, Bryce, Sterling, Gavin, Carter, Dawson, Nolan, and Everly).
