HE ONLY TAKES THE BEST

God saw that he was getting

tired and a cure was not to be.

So He put His arm around him and

whispered, "Come with Me."

With tear filled eyes we watched

as he slowly faded away.

And though we loved him dearly,

we couldn't make him stay.

A golden heart stopped beating,

his strong hands to rest.

God broke our hearts to prove to us

He only takes the best!
