Undine Faubel of Sierra Vista passed away peacefully on June 1, 2026, surrounded by her family at her home. Undine was born in Cologne/Lindenthal, Germany on March 9, 1943. She married Raymond Faubel on May 3, 1962 in Kaiserslautern, Germany and they spent the next 64 years together until that last part of the marriage vow came to pass. Undine and her family arrived in Sierra Vista from Munich, Germany in 1978. She was the former owner and manager of Deutsches Eck, Germany Market and Deli which she ran for 35 years.. She was the best cook ever, an exceptional mother and wonderful wife. Undine is survived by her husband Raymond E. Faubel, a son Robin D. Faubel; a daughter, Yvonne J. Gallien; 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; a brother Volker Schlichting in Germany; and an assortment of nieces and nephews in Germany and Paris.

Private services and internment will be held in the Southern Arizona Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Many thanks to Casa De La Paz Hospice for their assistance during Undine's illness.
