Tristan Charles Scudder

Tristan Charles Scudder, born to Joel and Renee Scudder in Sierra Vista, Arizona on August 15, 1984, died unexpectedly in his Whetstone home on June 1, 2024.

Tristan attended Buena High School, PPEP Tec and Cochise College. Tristan owned Scudder Electrical Services and was licensed and bonded, providing excellent service and honesty to his customers, earning high praise for his skill, kindness and integrity.

Preceded in death by his father, Joel Scudder, paternal grandparents Henry and Alice Scudder, maternal grandfather Desmond Simon, and his uncle Andrew Scudder.

He is survived by his mother Renee Bizzak, Stepfather William Bizzak, and his two beloved children Desmond and Carly. Tristan also leaves Katrina and Raina Russian, stepchildren whom he raised as his own. He leaves his grandmother Betty Simon (Granny Betty), uncle Michael Simon, cousin Chelsea Rainey, Aunt Julie Coons and uncles, Kevin Scudder and Larry Scudder, as well as additional family and friends.

He was intelligent, independent, and had an admirable work ethic from an early age. While going to high school, he found part time jobs on his own volition, including his most memorable as a newspaper delivery boy for the Sierra Vista Herald. People on his route often waited outside to see him riding his bike and throwing their newspapers with his five-foot-long boa constrictor hanging around his neck. He won Carrier of the Year in 1996 and he and his family were given a limousine ride to a holiday buffet meal at the Windermere Hotel.

No matter what Tristan chose to do, he did it well. He played soccer and softball, loved fishing, travel, practical jokes, and watching Desmond play football. His love for family was steadfast, but he particularly shone in his love for his children. Tristan will be remembered for his gentleness, loyalty, intense capacity for love, and his willingness to help anyone in need. His kindness to friends and strangers alike is an important example he shared with his children, who will never forget the dad who made them feel safe and loved.

A memorial service will be held at Hatfield Funeral Home on June 29, 2024, at 11:00 AM. A reception will be held afterwards.
