Tonia Valerie Hudson, 77, of Sierra Vista, AZ passed away on July 16, 2023.  
  
She was born on December 6, 1945, to Marvin and Frances (Crawley) Martin in Washington, DC. She attended various private and public schools throughout the state of Florida, including Palatka High School, from which she graduated in 1963.

On February 14, 1964, she married John in Palatka, Florida.  To this union they had one son, Shawn. Later, Tonia completed St. Augustine Technical Center’s Practical Nursing Vocational Program. She then worked as a nurse and Pharmacy Technician for over 35 years. Tonia was a proud military spouse for many years and moved frequently both domestically and internationally.
  
Tonia lived in Bonner Springs, Kansas prior to relocating to Sierra Vista, Arizona in 2020.  She was a member of St. Marks, Episcopal Church in Palatka, Florida. Tonia enjoyed family, history, genealogy, travel, retail therapy, and culinary delights. 
 
Tonia is survived by her loving spouse of over 50 years, John; Son, Shawn (Linda) Hudson; Grandchildren, Seth Hudson, Ian Hudson, Nika (Michael) Cuevas, and Luke (Kioni) Wiglesworth; and 6 great-grandchildren.
  
She was preceded in death by her Father, Marvin Mooney Martin; and Mother, Frances Valerie Martin.
    
A private interment will take place in the Southern Arizona Veterans' Memorial Cemetery at a later date.
