Timothy M. Ayers
"Wolf"
May 31, 1960 ~ December 27,2025
Timothy M. Ayers passed away December 27, 205 at the age of 65 at his residence in Sierra Vista, Arizona after a battle with cancer.
Tim (Wolf) was born May 31, 1960 in Paris, France to Herman and Betty Ayers. He moved to Fort Huachuca, Arizona when he was 7 years old.
Betty married Don Newman in 1970, they became a blended family and lived on the Newman Ranch in Ramsey Canyon.
Tim joined the army in 1978 and was in the armored unit until 1983. He returned to Sierra Vista and was a maintenance worker in various places around town. He assisted Don on the family ranch until his death in 2014, then assisted Betty with operations until she passed away in 2021.
Tim had an extensive model collection which included cars, trucks, tanks and planes. He had a large knife collection, many of which had a wolf on them. His largest and most prized collection was the over 2500 shot glasses he had collected wherever he went.
Tim retired in 2021 and did what he loved best, archery hunting and LOTS of fishing.
He kept his sense of humor right up to the end. He said "I've had a good life. I tried to be kind, treat people right and help them when they needed it. I have no regrets."
Tim is survived by his son, Justin; stepbrother, Dale; stepsisters, Lucy and Judy; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Burial will follow at a private cemetery in Ramsey Canyon.
