In loving memory of Terri Gustafson, on the first anniversary of her passing:
Terri was born on August 5, 1945 to Harold and Edwinna (Bunnell) Rosholm in Omaha, Nebraska. After graduating from Omaha Central High School, she began a career in office administration within the trucking industry. Her first marriage to George Bacon in 1975 was cut short when he passed away from cancer in 1982. She then met the love of her life, Daniel Gustafson. The two were married August 4, 1984 and built a life together in Phoenix, Arizona. She gave birth to two daughters, Amy and Kerry. Terri prioritized her family, planning cross-country roadtrips, organizing summers at their cabin, and volunteering and working at the girls’ schools. She was a talented quilter and active member of her church.
Terri supported Danny through his battle with cancer and remained a rock for her girls after his death in March, 2003. Later that year, she survived her own medical emergency which resulted in a brain injury. Thanks to her stubborn spirit, she triumphed through an unlikely and miraculous recovery.
After 9 years of living in Alexandria, Minnesota, Terri decided she missed the desert and moved to Sierra Vista, Arizona in 2017. She spent her final years sharing a home with her youngest daughter’s family. Her resilience and sense of humor carried her through painful chronic conditions. She enjoyed family visits, traveling, games, her dog, and sneaking treats to her granddaughter.
On April 25th, 2024, Terri passed away after suffering complications from pneumonia. Her family held her through her final breaths. She is missed dearly and deeply by her daughters, Amy Gustafson and Kerry Ingold, Son-in-Law Timothy Ingold, granddaughter Ariah Ingold, and her siblings, Jane McCrery (Jerry) and Drew Rosholm. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
