Sylvia Bankson, 71, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, July 31, 2026. Born October 14, 1954, she was a beloved mother, daughter, sister, and friend. Sylvia’s passing has left a deep void in the hearts of all who loved her. She will be remembered for her radiant smile, deep compassion, and warm heart.

For 39 years, she worked for the State of Arizona where she served as an Office Administrator. Outside of work, Sylvia enjoyed gardening, taking her dogs for walks, and spending time with family.

Sylvia is survived by her daughter Michelle Mullins (Bruce Mullins), sons Ronald Munsey and Timothy Munsey, granddaughter Alyssa Munsey and long time partner Jim Allen.

Rosary and funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 12, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Andrew’s Apostle Roman Catholic Church, 800 Taylor Drive, Sierra Vista, AZ 85635.
