Sierra Vista-Sanguansak (Waengwan) McMurray, 81, passed away peacefully at home on August 27, 2025, following two months of treatment at medical and rehab facilities for multiple gastrointestinal problems.

Sanguansak was born in Roi-Et, Thailand and was the daughter of the late Put Waengwan and Thongma (Homepan) Waengwan.

In addition to her parents Sanguansak was predeceased by her daughter, Kanchana Kauffman.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Bernard C. McMurray, Jr.; her sisters, Ratchanee Waengwan and Runjuan Fakin; her brother, Praesert Waengwan; her grandchildren, Samantha and Nina Kauffman.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 3, 2025 from 9:30 to 11:30 AM at the Hatfield Funeral Home, 830 South Highway 92, Sierra Vista.

Sanguansak’s cremains will be interred in Thailand with her daughter Kanchana Kauffman.
