SFC, Antonio Britto Obituary

SFC, Antonio Gene Britto

United States Army, retired
October 29, 1965 ~ July 20, 2026

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father, Antonio Gene (George) Britto, who passed away peacefully on July 20, 2026, at the age of 60.

Tonyo was a devoted husband, loving father, proud veteran, and loyal friend. He dedicated 20 years of honorable service to the United States Army and continued to inspire those around him through his strength, kindness, and unwavering love for his family.

He will be remembered for his generous heart, his wisdom, his love of fishing, his sense of humor, and the countless memories he created with those who loved him. Above all, he cherished his family and always put their happiness and well-being first.

He is survived by his loving wife, Maria Chona Britto, his children, Dale and Angelo, his Mother, Osoon Gromatka, and many family members and friends who will miss him dearly.  He is survived by his sisters, Eugenia Vaughan and Fernanda Doxzon.  He was preceded in death by his Father, Eugene Britto.

Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing that his legacy of love, service, and sacrifice will live on in all of us. He will forever remain in our hearts and will never be forgotten.
