Robert “Bob” Bullock, long-time resident of Sierra Vista, Arizona passed away at the age of 80 on September 26, 2023.  Bob was born in Leon, Iowa on December 1, 1942. 

Immediately after graduating from Ruthven High School, Bob enlisted in the Navy.  He was stationed in San Diego, San Francisco, and Long Beach.  After release from the service, Bob joined the rest of his family who had moved from Iowa to Spokane, Washington.  While there, he married and welcomed two daughters and graduated from college.

In 1976 the family moved to Sierra Vista, Arizona.  Bob worked on Fort Huachuca in Civil Service.  Over the years he enjoyed bowling, coaching his daughter’s fast pitch softball team, and gardening.  After retirement, Bob and Sandie spent several years traveling all over the United States and visited many countries and ports through cruising.

Bob is survived by his wife of 55 years, Sandie Bullock of Sierra Vista; daughter Michelle Johnson (Jim) of Sierra Vista; daughter Marcelle Messmer (Jeff) of Charlotte, Tennessee; grandson Grant Messmer (Haylee) of Charlotte, Tennessee; sister Cheryl Ables (Jeff) of Spokane, Washington; and several nieces and nephews.  He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Myrtle Bullock and his brother Chuck (August 2023).
