Sierra Vista - Robert L. Jewell, 74, of Sierra Vista passed away suddenly on Thursday, August 13, 2020.  Robert, son of the late John M. and Mildred R. (Scofield) Jewell was born in Paris, Illinois on March 12, 1946.

Raised in Paris, he graduated from Paris High School and married his high school sweetheart, Barbara Brown. He graduated from the University of Illinois - School of Pharmacy and went on to receive his Doctorate in Pharmacy from the University of Michigan.  Bob and Barb moved to Sierra Vista in 2004.  Bob worked as a pharmacist at the former Sierra Vista Regional Hospital.

Bob and Barb were avid Michigan fans and often joined the alumni crowd in Tucson to watch the games. Bob also enjoyed going to the movies, sailing, scuba diving, golfing, and hiking.  

Robert is survived by his wife Barbara A. (Brown) Jewell; a daughter, Jennifer Ann Jewell and her fiancé Ebby Klivansky; a son, Jonathan J. Jewell; a sister, Judy Higginbotham; and two grandsons; Nicholas and Jackson.

Private funeral services have been entrusted to Hatfield Funeral Home, Sierra Vista.
