Raul G. Diaz (94) has departed this life and joined the Lord, our Father, on March 6th, 2025.
Raul G. Diaz passed peacefully on March 6th, 2025 Raul was born and raised in Bisbee, AZ on October 25th, 1930. In 1948, he joined the Navy until his discharge in 1950.
Raul married his loving wife, Dora on February 23rd, 1952.
Raul is survived by his wife, Dora Diaz, their children, Raul Diaz Jr., Lisa Diaz, Teri Hagg, Johnny Diaz, and Rosanna Perry. He joins his son, Paul Diaz in paradise (d. 2017) Raul has 10 grandchildren along with many great-grandchildren.
He was a very devout catholic and loved the Lord with all his heart. He will be missed but never forgotten. Raul had an adventurous spirit. He attempted hand gliding, he enjoyed rock hunting, hiking, and camping. He even had a small part in the movie “The Quick and the Dead”. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus.
Raul also volunteered to minister in the Bisbee Jail to preach the Gospel, Word of the Lord, to save lost souls.
His services will be on Friday, March 28th, 2025 at St. Andrew’s the Apostle Roman Catholic Church beginning with a recitation of the rosary at 10:00 am.
