Paul grew up in Tombstone, Arizona, where he developed a love for the outdoors and hands-on hobbies. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and tinkering with cars-pastimes that brought him joy throughout his life.
Known for his kind spirit and infectious sense of humor, Paul had a unique ability to make those around him smile and laugh. He loved his family deeply and took great pride in his children. He also played a meaningful role in the lives of his nieces and nephews.
Paul was preceded in death by his son Jose; his father, Steven Specht; and all of his maternal and paternal grandparents, all of whom were from Tombstone.
He is survived by his mother, Rosemarie McGrew; his children Juanito (Britney) Specht and Letticia Specht (Derek); his sisters Susan Specht, Mary Molina (Ron), and Jennifer Bell; and four beloved grandchildren: Aiden, Kaidyn, Liam, and Waylon. He also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins who will cherish his memory.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Paul's presence brought warmth and laughter to those fortunate enough to know him. May his memory bring comfort to all who mourn his passing.
