Patricia Ann (Givens) Newby

Patricia Ann Givens Newby, 92, passed away peacefully in her sleep on July 27, 2021. She was born April 26, 1929 in Springfield, Ohio to Horton and Maggie Givens. Patricia was a true woman of God. She was full of life and never met a stranger, touching the lives of everyone she met. She will always be remembered for her saying, “blessed by the best”. Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, 3 sons, Greg, Gary, and Jerry Newby, and a daughter, Rhonda Newby, one great grandson, Shaquan Newby, and great-great grandson, John Long Jr. She leaves to cherish one daughter, Eva Fletcher, of Sierra Vista, AZ, one son, Brent Newby, of Urbana, Oh, 29 grandchildren, 55 great grandchildren, and 33 great-great grandchildren, 2 daughters in law, Linda Long, and Brenda Newby, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
