Sierra Vista-Norma A. (Brendle) O’Rourke, 87, passed away unexpectedly at home on November 4, 2022. Norma was born on December 29, 1934 in Macomb East Detroit, Michigan and was the daughter of the late George A. and Evelyn R. (Cooley) Brendle.

Norma is survived by her children, Dan (Karen), Dawn (Scott), Jamie (Lindsay), in addition to her 12 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Shawn, and son-in-law, Terry Trader and a grandson, David Evans.

Norma grew up in Marine City, Michigan and enjoyed watching her children in sports and other activities. She moved to Sierra Vista in 1976 and loved life there. She especially enjoyed looking at “her” mountains. She also loved to bake and share with family and friends.

Our family is very grateful to the following close friends who have been so loving and helpful over the years. Cheryl and Rick Labanow, Judy Howie, Ophie Salaiz, Beto and Dora Juarez, Ron and Pam Carl, and Wendy Kennedy.

A private family gathering will be held at a later date.
