Milton Blaylock, 82, of Sierra Vista, passed away on September 6, 2024.
He was born on May 23, 1942 to Jessie and Barbie (Banks) Blaylock in Tyler, Texas. Milton worked as a contractor doing painting and wood finishing. He was an active member of the Sierra Vista Church of God.
Milton enjoyed the out doors. He enjoyed his hunting trips, but especially loved to be out on the water whether it be the lake or the ocean fishing with his friends. The outdoors always brought him a sense of peace and help him connect with the Lord.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Stella Blaylock.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, September 29, 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Sierra Vista Church of God, located at 365 Taylor Drive, Sierra Vista, Arizona.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Milton's honor may be made to the Sierra Vista Church of God, to 365 Taylor Drive, Sierra Vista, Arizona 85635.
I’ve finished life’s chores assigned to me,
So put me on a boat headed out to sea.
Please send along my fishing pole
For I’ve been invited to the fishin’ hole.
Where every day is a day to fish,
To fill your heart with every wish.
Don’t worry, or feel sad for me,
I’m fishin’ with the Master of the sea.
We will miss each other for awhile,
But you will come and bring your smile.
That won’t be long you will see,
Till we’re together you and me.
To all of those that think of me,
Be happy as I go out to sea.
If others wonder why I’m missin’
Just tell ’em I’ve gone fishin’
