Melroy Edwin Horn

SIERRA VISTA — On Thursday, October 21, 2021, Melroy “Sonny” Horn, a loving husband, brother, father, son, and grandfather passed away at the age of 75. Melroy was born on May 5th, 1946 in St. Louis City, Missouri to Melroy Horn and Lucille Eberhardt. He received his Engineering degree from the University of Arizona. He served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam war and was awarded a Purple Heart during his service. He worked as a Director for the United States Postal Service in Tucson for 32 years. On April 7th, 2017, he married Josephine Morrey. Melroy had a passion for bringing a smile to everyone’s face and helping in any way he could. Melroy was preceded in death by his father, mother, and son. He is survived by his wife Josephine Horn, three children, three stepchildren, and siblings, cousins, nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.
