Marie Helene Schultz 02/07/1944 – 09/14/2025
On September 14th, Marie Helene Schultz, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend, passed away at the age of 81 years young in Tucson, Arizona.
She was born in Paris, France to Wilhelm Weingartner and Yvonne Marie Le Coz. Marie met Corbet R. Schultz in Germany, where he was stationed with the U.S. Army. They married in 1965 in Germany.
Marie had five children: Mary-Ann, John, Ruby, and Tammy; along with an adopted son, Donald.
They moved to Sierra Vista, Arizona in 1978 and Corbet retired from the U.S. Army as a Staff Sargeant in 1985.
Marie was a seamstress by trade and learned to sew in her younger years.
After marriage, she became a homemaker and ran a daycare out of her home. Marie loved being a member of the German/American Club in Sierra Vista, where she loved to cook and serve the community.
She leaves behind four children, fifteen grandchildren, and twenty-two great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, her parents, two brothers, one sister, her son John, one granddaughter Joelle and one great grandson Skyler.
A small “Remembrance” service will be held on October 18th at 2pm at her local residence for friends and family.
Funeral services will be held on October 20th for both Maria and Ray Schultz at Ft. Huachuca Post Cemetery at 10am.
