Luke McGrath Robert

Luke McGrath Robert, lovingly known to his friends as “Big Luke” and affectionately called “Uncle Pookie” by his nieces and nephew, passed away on February 21, 2026, in Sierra Vista, at the age of 20, due to a motorcycle accident.
At the time of his death, he was an organ donor. Since he was so young and healthy, he would likely improve many people’s lives by being selfless with these gifts.
Luke was born on April 12, 2005, in Sierra Vista, Arizona, to his parents, Nolan Robert and Kim Robert.
Luke graduated from Buena High School in 2023. He worked at Big O Tires for three years before beginning his career with Boart Longyear in June 2025. He was known for his strong work ethic and dedication.
Luke had a passion for anything involving cars and motorcycles, whether he was working on them or driving them. Since childhood, he enjoyed building Lego sets, a hobby that reflected both his patience and creativity. He was funny, always trying to find humor in what he was doing. He loved board games, cards and being outdoors and had recently begun exploring new adventures, including skydiving and snowboarding.
Those who knew Luke will remember his outgoing personality and larger-than-life presence. He had a unique ability to make everyone feel like his best friend, no matter their age. Luke had a deeply caring heart and was always willing to help anyone in need. His energy, laughter, and way of making every moment special will be remembered by all who loved him.
Luke is survived by his father & mother: Nolan & Kim Robert; his sister, Kaitlin Belvo; his grandparents: Bill Wendt (Douglas, AZ), Thomas and Lori McGrath (Danbury, CT) and Hulin Robert (Hammond, LA), many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, three very special nieces a nephew, a very loving girlfriend, Elissa and many extended family members and close friends who will cherish his memory forever.
Grandmothers predeceased are Debra Wendt (Douglas, AZ) and Elizabeth (Betty) Robert (Hammond, LA).
A memorial service will be held at Hatfield Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at 4:00 PM. Please join his family and close friends as they gather to celebrate Luke’s life and share memories of the joy he brought to so many.
Luke’s life, though far too short, was filled with love, adventure, and unforgettable moments. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
