Llewellyn "Lou" Wayne Nash
February 11, 1982 - December 8, 2023
Llewellyn Wayne Nash, was born February 11,1982 to Llewellyn Nash and Phyllis Nash. Llewellyn graduated from Crete Monee High School in 2000. He also attended and graduated Illinois Wesleyan University in 2004, while attending Wesleyan he joined the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc.
Llewellyn was very affectionate about his sports from a young kid when he first played Little League Baseball as a Lefty Pitcher. In High School he continued to play sports Basketball, Football, and ran track. Also while attending Wesleyan he played football all 4yrs of college. If you knew Lew you knew he was a Chicago Bears and Chicago Bulls fan to the end.
Llewellyn was known for his Contagious smile and loving personality where he never met a stranger. He was always seeing the good in the worst situation which would be from him being raised in the Church as a young kid, he accepted Christ and was Baptized in 1987 as young kid at Manuel Baptist Church in Chicago, IL.
On Friday night December 8,2023, He was called home to take his rest. He leaves behind his Father, Llewellyn Nash (Margie), and his Mother, Phyllis Clark (Kaysi); his daughters, Aaliyah Overall and Niala Nash; his brothers, Leimonte and Lorne; his sisters, Jovan and Yvonne. A Host of nieces,nephews,cousins,and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 15, 2023 at 5 PM at the Hatfield Funeral Home, located in Sierra Vista, Arizona.
