Lincoln Thomas Schneider, aged 88, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Friday, January 19, 2024, in Sierra Vista, AZ. Born in Lefor, North Dakota on February 15, 1935, to the late John and Margaret Schneider.

Lincoln was one of 13 siblings and married JoAnn Frenzel in 1959 at St. Joseph’s in Dickinson, North Dakota. Lincoln enjoyed his time in North Dakota at the lake fishing with his siblings, countless road trips across the country with his family, and going to Diamondbacks and U of A games. Lincoln was proud of his Roman Catholic faith and his service with the Knights of Columbus. He was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather who adored his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Lincoln was an Army Veteran and retired federal civil servant of 23 years.

Lincoln leaves to cherish his loving memory his wife, JoAnn Schneider; his children, Douglas Schneider, Patricia Aguirre, and Rodney Schneider; his siblings, June Peters, Rose McFarland, Margaret Everhart, Juanita Ventling, and John Schneider; four grandchildren, Brianna (David) Strong, Ashleigh Aguirre, Lance Schneider, and Amie (Jordan) Boltinghouse; eight great-grandchildren, and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Funeral Mass will be held at St. Andrew’s the Apostle Catholic Church in Sierra Vista, AZ on Friday, January 26, 2024; Rosary Service at 10:00 am with Mass beginning at 10:30 am. The interment will be a private ceremony with only close family members present.
