Sierra Vista-Laurence "Larry" R. Hansen, 94 of Sierra Vista died Thursday, July 3, 2025 at Haven of Sierra Vista. Laurence was born in Sparta, Wisconsin on August 21, 1930 and was a son of John P. and Evelyn G. (Guy) Hansen.

Larry served his electrical apprenticeship and then worked as a journeyman electrician from 1953 to his retirement in August of 1992. Some of his hobbies were woodworking and mechanics.

Larry had several special interests which included reading, fishing, hunting, and traveling. He resided in Sierra Vista for the past 32 years.

Larry served his country with the United States Army during the Korean War and attained the rank of Corporal.

In addition to his parents, Laurence was predeceased by his wife of 69 years, Jeannette L. (Rice) Hansen; three brothers, Jackie, James, and William (Pete); and a sister, Marian Stahman.

He is survived by his children, Mark L. Hansen, Rochelle Hansen Gagne (Arthur) and Scott R. Hansen(Rita); a brother, Clifford Hansen; two sisters, Ruth Albrecht and Barbara Schwersinbski; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

All services for Laurence are private.
