The family would like to give a special thanks to Canyon Vista Medical Center’s Emergency Room Department;  Dr. John Torseth, and all the nurses working that night that tried tirelessly to save Khalil’s life. Their compassion and care for him was amazing. Also, to the men that airlifted him to Tucson via helicopter to Banner Diamond Childrens ER Trauma Bay. The nurses there that worked that night and attempted to comfort me as much as as possible during his passing; and lastly Bishop Simpson for his compassion and support.

Our family would also like to extend the most heart filled thank you to the community for their generous outpour of support during this very difficult time. You kindness has gone above and beyond. It is truly a blessing. We could never thank you enough.

LORD, make me an instrument of your peace.

Where there is hatred, let me sow love;

Where there is injury, pardon;

Where there is doubt, faith;

Where there is despair, hope;

Where there is darkness, light; and

Where there is sadness, joy.

O, DIVINE MASTER, grant that I may not so

Much seek to be consoled as to console;

To be understood as to understand;

To be loved as to love;

For it is in giving that we receive;

It is in pardoning that we are pardoned;

And it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.

St. Francis of Assisi
