Karen was born to Haskell and Betty Williams on January 26, 1949 in Dallas, Texas. Karen sadly passed away unexpectedly on July 12, 2024 in Sierra Vista, Arizona.
Karen was the beloved wife of Rick Egner and a devoted mother to her two children. She was a cherished "grams" to her nine grandchildren and adored by her four great grandchildren.
Karen graduated from Buena High School class of 1967. Professionally, Karen spent her early years as a talented cosmetologist before dedicating her service to the developmentally disabled with the State of Arizona, from which she retired. Friends of Dr. Bob and Bill Wilson.
Karen was loyal to everyone and respected by many. She had a zest for life and a passion to help anyone she could. Karen was one of a kind, she never met a stranger and shared her snarky sense of humor and infectious smile with everyone. Her warmth, love, generosity, and compassion for others will be greatly missed. Karen's legacy lives on through the love and memories shared by her family and friends. She will be remembered for her boundless love and vibrant spirit.
Karen is proceeded in death by her parents, Haskell and Betty Williams, her brother Terry Williams and brother in law Bill Stewart.
Karen is survived by her loving and devoted husband Rick Egner; son, Robert (Melissa) Lundien; daughter, Le Anne Lundien; step-sons, Richard ( Elizabeth) Egner and Pete Egner; fur baby, Bogey; sister, Genene Stewart; grandchildren, Troy, Tyler, Kyanna, Zephan (Alexis), Deven, Kristian, Aeven, & Brayden; great grandchildren, Xavier, Ariabella, Ma'Leah & Isaac. As well as many nieces and nephews and her closest and dearest friends.
There will be a public funeral service July 22, 2024 at 10:00 A.M. at Hatfield Funeral Home located at 830 AZ-92, Sierra Vista, AZ 85635.
