Julia Keesee June 17, 1930 October 9, 2023 Sierra Vista- Julia (Jasso) Keesee, 93, of Sierra Vista died Monday, October 9, 2023 at Haven Health of Sierra Vista. Julia, daughter of the late Roberto and Paula (Medina) Jasso was born in El Paso, Texas on June 17, 1930. She has resided in Arizona and in Sierra Vista for the past 61 years. In addition to her parents, Julia was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Ernest C. Keesee, daughter Julia V. Keesee, son Ernest C. Keesee, and son John Samuel Keesee and her two brothers and six sisters. Julia is survived by two daughters, Mary (Jackie) Parker of Sierra Vista and Velinda (Gary) Norton of Sierra Vista and son Paul (Carol) Keesee of Tucson and her youngest sister Dominga (Jasso) Alonzo of El Paso, Texas, and her eight grandchildren Heather (Parker) Blackman, Damon Norton, Sarah (Norton) Norris, Daniel Keesee, Leah Winders, Kyle Keesee, Austin Keesee, Shelby Keesee and 12 great grandchildren Natalie Blackman, Madeline Blackman, James Keesee, Daphne Norton, Kendall Norton, Bodi Minardi, Muni Minardi, Cason Norris, Caleb Norris, Declan Norton, Hudson Cossie Norton, and McKenna Davis. Funeral services for Julia will be held on Saturday, October 21, 2023 at 11:00 am at Hatfield Funeral Home, 830 South Highway 92, Sierra Vista. Visitation will be held at 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM prior to the funeral service. A private burial will be held for Julia at the convenience of the family where she will be laid to rest with her husband at Post Cemetery, Fort Huachuca.
