It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Judith Everett Lautemann, age 86, on January 3rd 2025 in Sierra Vista, Arizona.
She was preceeded in death by her husband, best friend and soulmate of 57+ years, CSM Dieter Lautemann.
Judy was born on September 1st, 1938 in Jacksonville Illinois and was the only child of William and Lela Everett.
She raised four children across the globe while her husband served in the military for twenty years.
In 1976 the family retired and moved back to Jacksonville to raise their children until retiring from civilian life in 1998 and moved to Hereford, Arizona.
Judy enjoyed reading, playing her organ, riding on the back of a motorcycle with Dee and traveling. “I’ve seen everything and done everything I’ve wanted to once, twice and sometimes even three times ... I’m happy.”
She is survived by her four children, Penny Bourne (Karey), Mike Lautemann (Jill), Pam Fairfield (Pat) and Matt Lautemann (Nicki). And her sister-in-law Eva Lautemann.
She had eight grandkids, Michael (Kristy), Drew (Eva), Melissa (Scott), Jeff (Kim), Amanda (Ty), AJ (Tracy) , Kinzi and Karli. She was also blessed with fifteen great grandkids, Jace, Axel, Lilly, Emma, Martha, Tryson, Talon, Rylea, Ada, Bryn, Lily, Leo, Lela, Cal, and Wes.
A grave side service will be held on Friday January 10th at 10:00am at Fort Huachuca Post Cemetery.
