Johnathan Glenn Andrews

September 15, 1987 - June 20, 2020

John was born in Greenville, NC to Edward Glenn Andrews and Lynice Andrews. In 1988, John and his parent relocated from Tarboro, NC to Fort Monmouth, NJ. John enjoyed living on the beach in Manasquan, NJ. In 1992 the family relocated to Fort Meade, MD and in 1993, John welcomed home a little brother Brian who now resides in Sierra Vista, AZ. In late 1998 John and his family moved to Fort Polk, LA. In 2001, John and his family relocated to Camp Zama, Japan just outside Tokyo. John flourished in Japan, taking music lessons in Yokahama, enjoyed Japanese food and developed an appreciation for culture and arts. In 2003, the family moved south to the island of Okinawa, the 47th Prefecture of Japan. The island was small but John enjoyed Japanese cars, skateboarding, and spending time with his friends.  John especially loved his R32 Black Skyline. John graduated Kadena High School in 2006 and the family moved to Temple, TX where John attended Temple College.

In 2012, John moved from Temple to Sierra Vista and began working for WalMart Corporation. John was successful working retail sales with his outgoing personality and communications ability.  He was loved by his colleagues and managers. In 2018, John attended the WalMart Training Academy and was promoted to Assistant Manager and moved to WalMart, Vail, AZ. John continued his hard work in Vail receiving praise from managers and respect of his colleagues.  
John is survived by his two precious daughters, Marlo Lynice Andrews, age 5 and Indiana Lydia Andrews, age 3. John is the former husband of Jay Gamer of Whetstone, AZ. John is also survived by his father, Edward Glenn Andrews, mother Lynice Andrews and brother Christopher Brian Andrews all of Sierra Vista, AZ. 
John had untapped potential. John's life was cut short when another vehicle collided into his car the night of 19 June 2020 in Tucson, AZ. With his dad, mother and brother, John passed away on 20 June 2020 at 5:58 PM.  

John was a thoughtful, kind, and compassionate man, with his whole life ahead of him.  As a father, John loved his two daughters deeply.
