Jerry Marshall Green
May 7, 1943 ~ June 29, 2025
Jerry Marshall "Pard" Green, age 82, passed away on June 29, 2025, in Tucson, Arizona, surrounded by loved ones. Born on May 7, 1943, in Roswell, New Mexico, Jerry was the son of Lee and Vera Green. Growing up in the rugged beauty of the Southwest, nurtured a passion for ranch life and rodeos, participating in roping events and cattle drives with gusto. Jerry's life was a testament to hard work, enthusiasm, and an exceptional capacity to enjoy life's simple pleasures.
He proudly served as a Marine in Vietnam before completing his enlistment in San Diego. Returning home, Jerry joined his father's moving and storage business, eventually taking ownership and renaming it The Moving Company and later expanding it alongside his trusted business partner, Cristi Thomas.
Jerry was married to Carlyn Green, and together they had a daughter, Justyn Ashlee, lovingly creating a robust blended family with Carlyn's children Tony, Tanya, and Tara. His natural cowboy spirit shone in his determination and grit in each of his endeavors, while his love of golf kept him frequently playing at the picturesque Picacho Hills Country Club. Jerry also found joy in boating, all water sports as well as bass fishing, leading him to the serene waters of Lake Novillo in Sonora, Mexico, where for over 44 years he lovingly built and expanded a vacation home he shared with family and friends as often as he could.
Later in life, Jerry found great passion in competitive trap shooting. It was through this pastime he met his beloved life partner of 32 years, Paula Beardsworth. Together they traveled widely, enjoyed their families, built a beautiful home, and shared a deep bond of companionship and love.
Jerry was known for his infectious laugh, legendary sneezes, and generous spirit-often the life of any gathering he attended. Although he left us too soon due to complications from throat cancer treatments, we find solace knowing he is now reunited with his loving parents as well as his sister Vera Lee and Brother James in Heaven.
Jerry leaves behind his partner Paula, daughter Justyn, brother Terry, and many cherished friends and extended family. Celebration of life gathering will be held at home-away-from-home on Batuc Viejo, Son. Mexico. Jerry's remains will be spread on November 28th 2025 to rest eternally on the tranquil waters of Lake Novillo, the place he adored so deeply.
Jerry's strong, joyful legacy continues to live on. We will dearly miss him and forever cherish the profound impact he made on our lives.
