Jane Jila Underwood, 78, of Sierra Vista, Arizona, passed away on Wednesday, February 26, 2025.

Jane was born in Bangkok, Thailand, to the late Kimkar and Kuichang (Leow) Jung, and moved to America during the 1980s. Jane married her beloved Jack Clair Underwood on March 8, 1985 in Louisiana.  

She loved gardening, cooking and held a deep appreciation for Thai customs, tradition, food, and art. She was a member of the Sierra Vista, Arizona community for over forty years.

Jane is survived by her son, Chris, and many loving family members in Thailand.

She was preceded in death by her devoted husband Jack Underwood in February of 2014.

A time of visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 5, 2025 at the Hatfield Funeral Home, 830 S Hwy 92, Sierra Vista, Arizona from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM for friends and loved ones. A private interment will take place at a later date the Southern Arizona Veterans' Memorial Cemetery where she will be interred with her husband Jack.
