Honeylynne Minnie Garcia
November 17, 1995 - July 13, 2021
On Tuesday, July 13, 2021, Honeylynne Minnie Garcia died at the age of 25, along with her partner Landan Klein.
Honeylynne was born on November 17, 1995 in Paramount, California to Anibal Gonzalez Garcia and Natosha (McKinney) Garcia. She spent most of her childhood in the Southern California areas of Yucca Valley/Landers and Salton City before settling in Sierra Vista/Whetstone, Arizona in 2012.
Honeylynne began working as a server at Sunny D's Restaurant in Huachuca City, Arizona at age 17 until the time of her death, and was well known in the community as an extraordinary and generous person. She was a devoted and loyal friend to everyone who knew her, always willing to drop everything and help out anyone in need. Her unique personality and style was admired by many. She loved her pets dearly, which included dogs, rabbits and reptiles. Honeylynne had many hobbies including reading, nature, travel, music, anime, movies and videogames, but her passions were horticulture and cooking, both of which she had a natural talent for. Smart, witty, patient and caring, Honeylynne was a great person to talk with. She'd tell you like it is and was known for being brutally honest. Standing at only 5' tall she was a firecracker and had no fear of anyone or anything. She was the perfect balance between sweet and sassy. Her death was untimely and tragic. She truly was one-of-a-kind and everyone who knew her is heartbroken and will miss her dearly.
Honeylynne is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Roger and Diana McKinney, and cousin Rachel Lockhart. She is survived by her parents Anibal and Natosha Garcia, stepfather Jason Burleson, grandparents Rosa Gonzales and Carlos Garcia, step-grandmother Sunny Roepke, sister Rosa, brothers DJ, Roger, Edward and James, niece Lilian, stepsisters Alyssa and Trinity, step-aunt Della, step-uncle William, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins, acquaintances and friends who she considered family.
A Celebration of Life will be held, Friday July 30, at 3:30 p.m. at Sunny D's Restaurant, 424 N Huachuca Blvd., Huachuca City, AZ 85616.
