Helen Rose (Welch) Kenton May 29, 1935 - April 11, 2025

Helen Rose (Welch) Kenton passed away on April 11, 2025 in Tucson, Arizona. She was born on May 29, 1935 in Louisville, Kentucky. To David and Lorene Welch. Her parents moved to Jackson, Michigan when she was an infant.

She was raised in Jackson, met and fell in love with her husband Robert. They raised their son and daughter and spent 60 years together. In 1976 they made the decision to relocate to Arizona. Helen and "Bob" owned and operated Mountain Flower Shop in Sierra Vista for 20 years. In 1997 they retired and enjoyed traveling and spending time with family.

Helen is survived by her daughter Linda Cooley, son Robert (Kathie) Kenton, sister Doris Whitmire, 3 grandsons, Brian, Patrick and Levi. 5 great grandchildren Mandi, Kaleb, Crew, lauren and Kynsleigh.

She was preceded in death by her parents, David and Lorene Welch, brother David, sisters Cathy, Joan and Ruth Ann. Son in law Patrick Cooley.

Helen was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

She was loved and will be missed by everyone whose lives she touched.

A memorial service will be held at Hatfield Funeral Home on April 26, 2025 at 10:00 a.m.
