Helen K. Donegan-Brown, known since birth as "Pinkie," passed away on May 30, 2025 in Sierra Vista, Arizona at the age of 92. Born Helen Elizabeth Knadler on August 15, 1932 to Robert and Helen (Hayden) Knadler in Baltimore, Maryland, her childhood was spent along the Severn River shore in the Round Bay neighborhood of Severna Park, Maryland.
Pinkie is survived by daughters Laura Pollock of Georgia and Barbara (Randy) Schultz of Sierra Vista. Also survived are her grandchildren Jennifer Hardister, Ben (Hollye) Schultz, Sam (Miranda) Schultz and Mary Vestewig (Silas) Schulze; her great-grandchildren Meryl, Nell and Hayden; and her long estranged daughter Julia Baldwin and family. In addition, she had a close relationship with her step-daughter Karen Brown of Prescott, Arizona.
