Hector Francisco Lozano Suarez (1939 – 2025)
Hector Francisco, 86, of Sierra Vista, AZ, passed away peacefully on December 22, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Peru on 7 March 1939, Hector was a man defined by his unwavering dedication to family, and his lifelong passion for mathematics, travel and watching westerns.
Hector Francisco graduated from the Lima Engineering University and built a successful career as a Mechanical-Electrical Engineer in the mining industry in Peru and Argentina, known for his integrity and strong work ethic.
He married his beloved wife, Asuncion Adelaida, in 1969, and together they raised two children: Cerida Milagros and Hector Daniel. He instilled in his children the values of honesty, perseverance, and the importance of a good laugh and patience, often sharing stories from his youth. Hector was a devoted husband, and father, finding his greatest joy in family gatherings, trips, and quiet weekends by the pool.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Juan Toribio and Maria Jesus, and our beloved cats Thelma and Louise.
He is survived by his wife, Asuncion Adelaida; his children, Cerida & Kevin, Hector Jr. & Cynthia; his grandchildren, Kelli & Brandon, Kaleb & Taylor; his great grandchild, Hudson Ellis, our beloved cats Alpina, Mesquite and Mojave, and many other cherished family members and friends.
A memorial service celebrating Hector's life will be held at Hatfield Funeral Home (830 AZ-92, Sierra Vista, AZ 85635) on 3 January 2026 from 4 – 5 pm.
