Sierra Vista-Frederick C. Spencer, 58, of Sierra Vista died Thursday, November 11, 2021 at Banner
University Hospital, Tucson. Frederick, son of the late Frederick R. and Laura M. (Barker) Spencer was
born on April 13, 1963 in Detroit, Michigan.

Frederick was raised in Detroit and was educated there and where he received his GED. He went on to
receive his Associates Degree from Central State University in Wilberforce, Ohio. He served his country
with the United States Army for 8 years and 7 months.

Frederick was currently working as a Security Analyst with Vision IT on Fort Huachuca for the past five
years. He had previously worked with the Military Police and as a security guard also on Fort Huachuca.
Frederick has resided in Sierra Vista for the past 22 years. He was recently ordained and licensed as a
Pastor by Bishop T L Simpson of New Jerusalem Community Church.

He is survived by his wife Teresa L. (Henderson) Spencer; three sons, Isaiah Spencer, Vincent Richardson,
and Vernon Richardson; two daughters, Ryan Sanders Brandon) and Vanitra Richardson; a brother, Jude
Taylor; two sisters, Janine Spencer and Madonna Spencer; and 11 grandchildren.

A memorial service for Frederick will be held on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at 4:00 pm at New
Jerusalem Community Church, 479 East Wilcox Drive, Sierra Vista. Visiting hours for Frederick will
precede his service on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 from 2 to 4 pm. Burial will be private.
