Frank Pershing Egner Jr. January 9, 1946 – August 21, 2024

Frank Egner 78, passed away peacefully in his home with his wife at his side on August 21, 2024. Frank was born in Cambridge, Mass. In 1946 to Frank and Helen (Silva) Egner. Frank attended Cambridge High School. After high school he worked at Johnnies Food Master.

At age 21 he joined the Navy and worked as a Dental Technician Corpman and served on the USS Samuel Gompers. He went back to school in his early 40’s and received an Associates Degree in Human Services. Frank moved to Arizona in the late 90’s and worked at Aires and HCBS with special needs community. He retired from the city where he worked at the Therapeutic Recreational After School Program for special needs children.

Frank enjoyed fishing, camping and music. He was always willing to lend a helping hand if you needed it. Frank was loved by many for his compassion, kindness and patience. Frank was preceded in death by his mother Helen Egner and his father Frank Egner.

He is survived by his wife Beth Egner, his brother Rick Egner. His first wife Geri Gaff Egner, his children Sheryl Egner, Sandra Egner, Jeff Egner and Julie Egner (Hall). Grandchildren Jordan Hall, Kendra Rose Egner, Madison Hall, Edgar Egner, Robbie Egner, Tristan Egner.

The family would like to thank Casa de la Paz Hospice for their excellent care and compassion.

Services will be held at Hatfield Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 28, 2024. A viewing from 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm service to follow.
