Florence Lorena (Hieber) Marquis

Florence Marquis passed away on August 5, 2021 in a tragic car accident. Florence served in the United States Army and retired as a lieutenant colonel. She was also a teacher for the tombstone school district for more than 40 years. Florence had no children of her own; instead she dedicated the majority of her life to helping and guiding the children of others. She was the daughter of Amcie and Mae Hebert and the oldest daughter out of six children. She is preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, one sister and her husband. She is survived by her sister Elsie King as well as her many nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held in Sierra Vista At the Salvation Army on August 17 at 3 PM.
