Eleanor Jane Delaney (nee Bradford)
Eleanor Jane Delaney, affectionately known as Nori, passed away peacefully on June 2, 2026, at the age of 78. Born on August 28, 1947 in Columbus Ohio to the late Blanche Bradford and Emmett J. Guthrie. Eleanor was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, whose warmth and kindness touched the lives of many.
Eleanor was married to Lester Delaney, with whom she shared a loving partnership until her passing. Surviving relatives include her four children: Lisa Mullholand (Robert), Liana Figueroa (Fernando), Amy Hardin (Tyrone), and Chad Delaney (Lisa). Her daughter Laura Delaney went to heaven before her and we are sure they are enjoying a wondrous reunion at the Pearly Gates. Eleanor's love extended to her cherished grandchildren Stacie Helton(Matthew), Andrew Mullholand (Shannon), Derek Hill (Annie), Lindsey Potter (John Houston), Nicholas Martinez (Fina Zuniga), Bryan Hill, and Carlos Caro. They brought immense joy and pride to her life. Also surviving are 19 great-grandchildren.
Eleanor attended Colonel Crawford High School. Then she went on to hold many valued jobs such as a waitress at Longhorn Restaurant, where her exceptional spirit and kindness made her favorite with many patrons. She later became a valued employee at Walmart, where her dedication and hard work were recognized and appreciated by her colleagues.
Eleanor was known for her classy demeanor and her ability to offer wise advice. She possessed a unique gift for making everyone feel special, and her kindness resonated with those who had the privilege of knowing her. Wherever her family was gathered you were sure to find her. One of her great joys was having her family all together. Eleanor's legacy will live on through the countless lives she touched with her generosity and compassion.
A viewing will be held from 9a-10am on Saturday June 6 at Hatfield Funeral Home in Sierra Vista Arizona. A graveside service will be held at 11am at the Tombstone Cemetery inTombstone Arizona..
She will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who knew her. Rest in peace, dear mom.
