Edward Figueroa Obituary

Edward Arthur Figueroa
July 15, 1955 - September 20, 2024

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our brother and friend, Eddie Figueroa. He passed away on the 20th of September at his home in Sierra Vista, AZ.

He was predeceased by his parents, Gregorio and Beatrice Figueroa, brother Martin, brother-in-laws Edward Schmehl, Joe Guerrero, and nephew, Jacob Guerrero.

Eddie was born on July 15th, 1955, and lived in the Phoenix area until November. 1966, when the family relocated to Sierra Vista. He attended Sierra Vista Middle School and Buena High School. After his educational days he embarked on a series of travel and adventures. He traveled across the US, to Israel, Belize, Hawaii and Peru.

For a time, he lived in Boston, Massachusetts, and Reseda, California, before returning to Sierra Vista, for the remainder of his life.

He worked as a high-end auto electronic technician. He was skilled at photography and videography which he loved to share. He volunteered his video skills in support of the yearly "Circle of Friends." He also had a lifelong passion for creating clay sculptures.

Eddie is survived by his siblings, Greg, Jr. (Pam), Jesse, Silvia and Theresa and sister-in-law Ange Figueroa. Eddie had great affection for his nieces and nephews, Ian, Jeramy, and Nina, Kathy, Jessica, Jacob, Leah and Sean. They shared many fun times together. It's never easy to say goodbye to a loved one, but we know that we will meet again.

"In Loving Memory"
From here below your soul has flown.
Away into eternity.
And though you've left, the Lord has shown.
You'll be with us eternally.
