Msg, Edward Carr
United States Army, Retired
May 20, 1962 ~ August 7, 2025
Edward Carr, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, passed away peacefully on August 7, 2025 at the age of 63.
Edward proudly served his country in the United States Army for over 20 years, where his dedication, discipline, and sense of duty left a lasting impression on those who served alongside him. After retiring from the Army, he continued his commitment to public service by working for the government for many years.
Though quiet by nature, Edward had a quick wit and a knack for delivering the perfect joke at just the right time, bringing smiles and laughter to family and friends. He was a devoted fan of the Dallas Cowboys, faithfully cheering for his team through every season.
Above all, Edward loved and cherished his family. He will be deeply missed by his loving wife, children, grandchildren, sister, and all who were blessed to know him.
A celebration of Edward’s life will be held on Thursday, August 14, 2025 at Hatfield Funeral Home at 9:30 am. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to [charity or organization, fisherhouse.org/get-involved/ways-to-give/memorial-gifts or michaeljfox.org.
And be a simple kind of man
Oh, be something you love and understand
Baby, be a simple kind of man
Oh, won't you do this for me son, if you can?
