Earl O. Pike, Jr., Ph.D.
Earl O. Pike, Jr., Ph.D., 81, of Sierra Vista, Arizona, entered his heavenly home on June 2, 2024. Earl was born on March 30, 1943, in Superior, Montana. He was a proud alumnus of the University of Oregon, where he earned a Ph.D. in psychology. Earl dedicated his life to serving the community as a School Psychologist for the rural schools of Cochise County, and the Palominas School District.
Earl is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Judy E. Pike, his children, Janell Jackson, Brian Pike and daughter-in-law Linda Pike, Christina Wiesinger and son-in-law Ben Wiesinger. and his six grandchildren, Garrett Jackson, Grace Jackson, Janell May Pike, Jacob Pike, Ripley Wiesinger, and David Wiesinger. and sister Winifred Branning. Earl was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Grace Pike, brothers Gerry and Steve, and son, Michael Pike.
Earl was a cherished member of the Community Presbyterian Church in Pinetop, AZ, and an affiliate member of Covenant Presbyterian Church in Bisbee, AZ.
Earl’s kindness, dedication, and unwavering commitment to helping others will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
We are grateful for the loving care he was given by the staff of the memory care unit of Prestige Assisted Living, and by Valor Hospice.
A celebration of life will be held at Faith Presbyterian Church, Sierra Vista, at 2 p.m. on August 11, 2024.
