Dorothy Jane (Kobriger) Hemauer

Dorothy Jane Hemauer
February 12, 1928 - July 26, 2026

On Sunday afternoon, July 26th, our Dear Lord called home an angel. From her home here in Sierra Vista, with some of her children by her side, a beautiful soul went to spend eternity with our Creator and those who had preceded her.

Married to Jerome Hemauer, who was called home in November of 1981, Dorothy was Mother to 9 children. Along with Jerome she was preceded by her sons Douglas and Mark as well as her daughter Lois.

She is survived by her children Linda Felton, Bonnie Hemauer, Carol Hemauer, Ann Hatcher, Keith Hemauer and Sarah Guvenen.

Born in Chilton, WI, a kinder, more loving or joyful person could not be met, as anybody who was blessed to know her, would attest. Long before she would raise her family with Jerry, she attended the American Art Institute in Chicago, where she also played ball and was asked to join The All American Girls Baseball League. She was given a contract for her parents to look over and would have had Spring Training in Cuba. Her Mother and Grandmother had other plans and tore the contract in two. That spirit, love of life and trying something new, exuded from her for 98 years.
