Darryl Barnes Obituary

Mr. Darryl Barnes, was born September 26, 1954, and
departed this life on Sunday, February 16, 2020 at 1:30 am at
his home in Casa Grande, Arizona. He was the son of the late
David Barnes and Dorothy Pratt Watson.

At an early age, he accepted the Lord as his savior and
remained a faith servant until the Lord released him from his
earthly duties. Mr. Barnes received his education at the New York education
system while living in the Bronx. At age 18, he enlisted into the
Army, and served his country faithfully for 20 years, with
various assignments that included three tours of duty in Korea,
defending the freedom of his country.
In 1988 while stationed in Korea, he met and married Mrs.
Hui Song Cho, and was happily married for 32 years in loving
companionship until he departed this earthly life.
Brother Barnes was a man that always put the concern of
others before his own, helping with whatever was needed. He
loved spending time with his grandchildren and sitting in his
garage listen to his music. He enjoyed his old Christian hymn
and wasn’t afraid to singing them.
His father, mother and sister preceded him in death. He
leaves the surviving family members to cherish his loving
memories: His wife Hui Song Barnes, one daughter Octavia
Barnes of North Carolina, three stepsons, Wooseung Jin (Jumi)
of Phoenix AZ, Ujong Jin of Texas, Ujung Jun of Korea; two
grandsons, Louis and Chris Jin of Phoenix AZ and a special
adopted brother Angel Machado, of Florida.; and a host of
nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Husband, Father, Brother, Friend, Soldier, and Servant of
God you will be missed
