Brian Glenn McDaniel was born on May 6, 1987 in Omaha, Nebraska and went home to God on June 17, 2025. He spent most of his childhood in Sierra Vista, mostly playing Army and emulating the soldiers he watched on Fort Huachuca. He graduated from CAS High School in 2006 and moved to Omaha, Nebraska to help care for his grandmother. Omaha became the home he loved, with its four seasons and many snow experiences he never had in Sierra Vista. On different occasions, he moved to Prescott, Tucson, and even back to Sierra Vista, but he always returned to Omaha, his permanent home.
Brian was a loving son, brother, and family member. He had a big heart and kind and generous spirit. He loved baseball, animals and horses. He enjoyed cooking, especially chili and Italian. He was very knowledgeable about movies and enjoyed talking about them. He will be greatly missed.
Brian is survived by his mother Diane, father Glenn, sister Michele, brother Scott and wife Sher, nieces Camille and Summer, nephew Shawn, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. The visitation and Rosary will be held on Monday, June 30, 5:00 at Hatfield Funeral Home. His funeral will be Tuesday, July 1, 12:00 at Saint Andrew Catholic Church with reception following. Interment will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Saint Vincent de Paul Society or Carenet Pregnancy Center, both in Sierra Vista.
