Barbara Louise (Mellecker) Kemery

Barbara Louise (Mellecker) Kemery went peacefully to be with the Lord on August 25, 2025, after a year and half battle with leukemia. Up until the end, Barbara maintained her kindness, grace, compassion, love of family and friends, and expressed gratitude for her long life based in the Lord.

Barbara was born on September 8, 1943 in San Diego, CA, and lived out her long, loving life in Sierra Vista, AZ.

She is surpassed in death by her mother, father, and sister. She is survived by her husband, David, 4 siblings, 3 children, 4 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.

In her 81 years of life, Barbara took care of her family, friends, and her church family. She extended her compassion to those in need and always had an open door or an empty chair at her table.

She enjoyed traveling to see her children, grandchildren and was over the moon to meet her first great grandbaby.

Funeral services will start with a viewing at Hatfield Funeral Home on Tuesday, Sept 2, 2025 from 5-7pm.

This will be followed with a funeral at Country Estates Baptist Church on Wednesday, Sept 3, 2025 at 10am.

And burial services at Veterans Memorial Cemetery at 12 noon.

There will also be a luncheon at Country Estates Baptist Church after the burial for those that would like to attend. We are using Prairie Floral Design Studios (https://prairiefloraldesignstudio.com/).
